Madball playback : strange thing

I've discovered that the game doesn't playback if you record without Frameskip 0.
But with -noafs used, the game only playbacks when you press F10 at the beginning, it desyncs if you playback it at normal speed :
try this one
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/b/4/3/ph ... olf104.zip

After I've recorded with -nosound -noafs :
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/9/e/9/ph ... olf104.zip

Then it playbacks ok for me with or without pressing F10.
But Notman only got it to playback when pressing F10 ;
maybe he's not in the same set of PC than me ? 63bug?
Don't really know ...
does anybody else get mine to playback at normal speed ?

And last question :
can anyone playback one of the top three scores ?
maybe as they weren't aware to use -noafs, these inputs are unplaybackable and should be disqualified ; need 3 testers, please

How long do you need to press F10 for?

Do you mean a quickly toggle F10 on and off, i.e. press F10 twice, or are you saying that the whole recording needs to be played unthrottled?

I've tried both records (31200 and 59100 [no sound]) and both desync on level 1, but with F10 pressed both playback fine - just very fast!!!

Sounds like it should be an easy fix to get both to playback fine normally - but if it depends on Windows/CPU then maybe it's not so easy!

Has anyone brought this up yet on the MAMETesters forum?
