Here is a inp that was recorded on Mame32 .86u4 from http://www.classicgaming.com/mame32qa/down.htm

The file is the last link on the bottom. I installed this in a new folder, seperate for any other mame builds and only placed the one rom in the rom folder. So, this should be a pretty clean build. The last inp I uploaded for .86u3. I had the rom folder directory mapped to another version of mame. Maybe this was the problem.

I only played the first round.

Thanks

Man, I just don't know. Never had a problem like this before. But I've never posted with this version of mame before.

I will just wait till the next WolfMame comes out.

Thanks

Have you tried playing back my inp?

Actually I didn't. I just did and it stopped at the sound test. So I think we have a problem here

There are no Mame.ini files for either Mame32 install folders. Maybe this version of Mame doesn't create one. Do you have one?

I found the ini file for the 86u3 version of Mame32. But I didn't see one for the 86u4 version. Well, here is the ini file for the first score uploaded on Mame32 86u3.

i guess maybe just print screen out your options on the sound window (darn gui's), unless someone knows where these are cached, i didn't think they'd be in the registry.

Need a little help on where to find the sound options so I can print screen for you.

Options->Default Game Options->Sound Tab

or to be sure go to the game you want such as namco->right Click->properties->Sound Tab

and show us what's there.

Here is a screenshot. I don't know if it will help. Not much info here. How about I record without sound? Are other people able to play back your inp?
