chicken shift

this appears to be a non-default nvram problem, playsback differently with nvram vs. no nvram.

Only plays first board with sound and only plays coin insert without sound.

Same result for me. Different results depending on mame32/mame, sound and nvram combinations, but none passes the second screen.

Chad, how did you get Donut's Chicken Shift recording to playback?

hmm, it played back the first time with climame, sound (and winxp) i'll try it again...

yeah works perfectly, even with fs11, sample rate 44k. a pretty amazing 4th termite board, on the last man (eggs), with the third and final egg just to hit the ground, the final carton was filled...

OK...maybe climame will play it back for me. Does "climame" simply refer to "mame062b"? Or is there some other modified version?

yeah "Command Line Interface" (it's been called) mame, is now the official version of mame, non-dos non mame32 version.
