Tombstones Uploads

Hi Guys.

Ive noticed that a few of the recordings that i have uploaded have been challenged due to not having 'Default' NVRam.

As recommended by Skito, the NVRam Directory in my main MAME directory was deleted so as not to case any more problems - however, the uploads continue to be challenged?

Is there anything else that i can do so as to allow playback on those that verify the recordings, other than no NVRam i dont know what to do.

FYI. Using latest MAME build to .61 with EmuLoader to execute.

Just uploaded 40+ scores - lets see what this brings.

Hi

Well first of all make sure that your recordings playback before you upload them. That is just a general rule when uploading recordings and it saves yourself and the confirmers, editors work if the recording does not playback.

I would also like to point out that "Tombstones" seems to be a team of players. We really prefer that you get a separate account/person and upload the scores so instead of a team.

Actually, Tombstones is not a 'Team' of Players.

In fact its only me thats playing for Tombstones - Romulous.

I changed my NIC from N.Rodgers [Real Name] to Tombstones seeing as i am part of the Tombstones Burning team. The only other person that has contributed to the scores that i have uploaded has been the Elder - who incidentally is my brother - just to keep him happy.

I was hoping that the Tombstones burners would contribute - but alas - it appears 99% of them only burn CDs - Hoo Hum.

And life goes on my Friend.

That may not have been clear, but im not a Newbie to MARP, ive been here for a couple of years - just started to join in the fun again.

Ok, sorry my apologizes for thinking that Tombstones was a team. When I read the upload description "Romulus playing for the Tombstones" etc I though that it was a team of guys all uploading under the same account.

Read the rules and the help section and most importantly, like QRS said, make sure your recordings play back correctly before uploading them.

It brings me to point you to MARP rule l):

l) Submit only games that you feel are worthy of the notice of other MARPers, owing either to personal effort, or display of skill.

You have 323 unconfirmed recordings. Since you just found out about NVRAM I have a feeling that many of them don't play back correctly. Why don't you check them all and delete the ones that don't play back correctly?
