hello, i'm new here..

i hope i'm posting in the right area..

anyways, i've put up a new high score
for nintendo's 'vs ice climber'..[iceclimb].

a very deceptively simple looking game,
that gets ridiculously hard later on..

thanks for whoever verified my score 927,900..
played on standard settings 3 men..default..

i've done much better in the past,
but that was 10 years ago..he he..

try it out if you like platformers..
its kind of like super mario bros,
except you keep going to the top
of the level..

Welcome!

But just a little note - you don't need to (and shouldn't) replace the spaces in a subject with an underscore... it's distracting, and it looks rather ugly.

oh...the _underscores_ are just a habit
from programming....

i guess, i'm just used to doing that..

but only in the _subject_ headings..

finally, a much better high score,

1.7 million, 29 boards..

game : iceclimb (vs. ice climber)

score : 1708100

version : win61

note:
3men + extras ... / a much better game, got to mountain 29, and lost a whole bunch of men ... / no .nvram file, but use no sound to playback / used logitech wingman gamepad for movement

it took me awhile, but when jeff wolfe broke
a million, i had to go back...

i messed up near the end..

but the first man did all the work..

You aren't programming here, and it looks bad. And it's not just the underscores, it's also the other bits wrapped in []. Other people have been complaining as well. As much as I don't want to, if you don't stop formatting subject lines like that, I'm probably going to have to ban you from posting until you agree to stop.

That wasn't old - What I replied to was only posted less than 4 hours earlier.

Alright, I'm going to give a number of people some advice.

What are you doing bickering over stupid stuff like topics that look a little funny?

If you don't like the way negative writes the topics, then edit the post, OK? Threatening to ban somebody over something as stupid as this is an extremly rash thing to do, and you will get no support from me. If this is where MARP is going, then I'd rather not be a part of it. Period.
