This is weird. On Mame CLI - Throttle on/off - afs/fs0 - Sound on/off, I get 14,730.

On DMame - afs/fs0 - Sound on/off, I get 37,530. So, more points than advertised, but as I can insert credits right away, it seems this is not the right score.

Either he pressed ESC right away and 37,530 is the right score, or he got less points and then pressed ESC before he got to the initials.

Maybe its time to make it a rule that initials must be entered when possible. It makes it a lot easier to confirm recordings. If he had entered initials here, it would have proven that 37,530 is the right score. If not, or something different than alj, it would have proved that the game got out of sync.

Just an idea.

yeah that's what i got too 14 then 37 but i was afraid to report a score of 37k because it looked wierd. but he proly did hit esc. The right thing to do is report the playback final score of 37k and state settings to get it to playback to that. initials certainly help but often after a game is recorded (even a good game) typing in the intials can be an skill forgotten after lots of game play, especially with confusing initial entering controls i.e. bagman.

I don't exactly remember what I did. (Escape or not). I will however wait for initials from now on. Didn't mean to cause a lot of fuss.
