I just wanted to tell you that after a few hours of experimenting with nvram, sound ,no sound, ALOT of different mame versions etc I know how to playback my s1945p recording.

It playbacks PERFECTLY in mame32 057 (gui-version) Default settings sound on. The only thing you must change is the samplerate to 22khz instead of the default of 44khz.
