Hi. I´ve watching the replay of Ramatan playing GNGA, and I´ve found him making a new leeching after dying in the loops 5, 6 and 8. He finished and started 11 times. Was a great replay... but...

He died and maked leeching again. I could make a score very much higher doing this, but I felt with fear to have my inp reseted to 0. Because this game has rule of leechings, no??

So, I suggest for we making a vote. To keep this settings or play with 5 lifes. a default first with 20.000 and the second and last with 70.000?

Does he earns any extramen while he leeches? I mean does he gets more
extramen than he dies?

Anyway, I vote for a 5men only for all the gng-games (gng, gnga,
gngt, makaimur, makaimuc, makaimug)

It will be much more fun to play on those settings in my opinions.

No QRS. He played honestly. But he died on 5th loop. and he made a
leeching. He made a new leeching with the other life. Is pretty good
if we play without those very much extra lifes, because technique
will be more important than leech...

Innuendo - I hope you don't mind me clarifying what you're saying...

What the recording in question did was leech on stage 4, the fire
bridge, twice on each loop. I.E. he leeched once, died, and leeched
again, then finished on those three loops. The vote in question is
to ban this leeching. Similarily, stage 3 leeching, the zombie
leeching, is deadly illegal, in other words, you get zeroed if you do
it for more than one life / loop.

But Gameboy9, isn´t a problem make these leechs if the player have
the only 5 men. Understand?? the problem is the very extra lifes that
you get when you make 70.000 all the time. If the people vote for gng
and all his clones to play with 5 men, the problem will be solved.

5 Men for GnG does sound like hell, but it definitely sounds a lot
better for leeching, so I vote Aye on both the 5 men and the settings
that it should be at. (this is a vote, right? I saw gb9 say
something about Aye...)

People. I played honestly. I've read the rules before playing due
on the page says "special rules". Nothing about the bridge level.
And the ammount of points is very low (100 pts), and i LOST A LIVE
"LOST" not killed thinking to get more points. As you can see this
only was 1 time, i think this is not point leech. Ammount of 5000
points of 3648700 is leech?.
Innuendo the settings for this game MUST BE 5 lives. No more
when i saw your .inp 10+ extra lives i was crazy.
On gnga clone must be 5 lives maximum in my opinion too.
gnga clone sux a lot, very easy to get 10+ extra lives.
GNGT was the game i played on real arcade maybe here the settings can
be ok.
As you can see on my inp. Turns 10-11-12 i played all levels without
getting any points. Only going ahead without stopping in any place.
I think that is not point leech.
Well people, im newby on marp.retrogames.com only 1 week old, but im
a honest player.
If my record is refused, i would like see a REAL special settings
page.
now i have questions:
if you LOST a live honestly you can't get more points on that level?

Ramafan. You´re a great player. I´ve watched your inp and if use the
old rules, I can beat you. serious... but maybe you´ll be first
because I won´t have permission to play with the old rules. but I´m
happy because you made a very nice score. Of course you´re a honest
player. But I didn´t leeching after dying on a leech point. you´ve
died on fire bridge and made again. Me, not. The problem, isn´t you
or your skills or the leeching! The problem is this number of lifes
with the 70.000 points. for this, the vote. right?? congrats again
for you.

Hi Innuendo. Of course, extra live each 70000 points has no sense.
But tell me what IS the ACCTUAL RULE i must use. I saw your inp
and you played with the same number of lives. So please tell me what
"old rules" means. So i would like to play with the same rules.
I wanna beat gngt and gng scores soon. Please tell me the rules.
Of course, my opinion is 5 or 7 lives maximum.

if the editors accept, the new rule is play with only 5 men, without
extras lifes in all gng clones. Since now, I´ll play with these
rules. So I think you´re the new king of gnga, because I think I
cannot beat your high score with only 5 lifes. But I want try. hehehe.

I agreed and disagreed for the limitation of lives. For all gng's
series I'm ok, except for gng. This one is really hard. Who can pass
the 2 devils in stage 6 each time he plays ? Not me, and I known well
this game. Secondly, where I play to gng in 1985 year, the last life
bonus is to 980 K. They are no more and on gng version bonus life is
very important.

Latest : what is boring when we look an inp ? Not make 10 or 20
loops, but leeching is boring. So, ban leeching, yes but play with
only 5 lives on this hard version is hell. Think of all marp users
who begin at gng. And this is for all games. I don't play well to
Bomb Jack and I love this game. I'm worried when I saw you would like
change the nomber of lives on this game too. It's not a solution, you
risk to desinterest players on these games and make a game for elite
only.

I understand Ramatan. He play with your rules and you don't accept
the very little leeching he find. And, it's not these 9k he gain on
fire bridge that made is inp illegal.

I vote yes for reduce the number of lives for all gng's safe gng.
When we'll be 25 to make over 2 loops in this game, why not. But we
are only... I don't know if even you made 2 loops in gng, Innuendo.

Another thing who can eliminate some leeching is to made a ranking by
stage then by score. Who'll make leeching if it's for the second
place ? And why you don't propose to play in hardest difficulty ?

For the Olympiad use the usual rules for gng. No die leeching in
stage 3, no time bug. But escape the fire bridge dragon and the stage
5 devil is accepted. Ranking made by stage reach then by score as all
games where I'm the coordinator.

Francois:If gng should not be restricted to 5 men only, cause its
hard you should do that to gngt too, cause its even harder.
