Puzzle Bobble

Im trying to get puzzle bobble (pbobble) to playback some inp files on version 34 of mame, but I get an error message saying roms not, but they are there? I can play back in later versions but not in mame 34. Please help

There were most likely rom file changes in this game, you can get
past roms from
http://www.mame.dk by looking on the page that lists the
roms, it will give multiple links for multiple rom revisions and the
links will loko like this: "Roms for version mame34-mame36" "Roms
for version mame37b1-mame37b11"

another problem with earlier mame33 ( i did not think this was a
problem with mame34 though) was that you are required to unzip the
roms to a directory in the roms dir to get mame to recognize the
roms "exist", i.e.
<p>
cd mame
<p>
cd roms
<p>
mkdir pbobble
<p>
cd pbobble
<p>
pkunzip ..pbobble.zip
<p>
cd ....
<p>
mame34 pbobble
