most ridiculous experience in gaming?

seeing the stupid radar zone default high score at every 800.000 has prompted me to ask what is your most ridiculous experience in gaming?
<p>
1 of mine is sega pinball ball savers - no grace period, no "shortly timing out" warning, no trigger on outlanes my ass (i once missed the ballsaver by about 1/100 of a second - guess what? bonus...)

It's been a while since there's been a completely pointless post, so
this intrigues me.

My worst memory: After finally going through all the levels on Super
Mario World for SNES, my cousin erases the cart.

Mine was getting jumped by 3 black guys from behind while playing the
original Street Fighter in a mall arcade in Virginia.

Ridiculous can be considered like this: Spending 30-40 minutes at
your computer, nearly shorting out your monitor, and nearly getting
dizzy while playing Columns...only to IMPROVE on second place. *g*
Seriously, I'm glad I got the 40 extra points for that, but I wish I
didn't have to go through this again. LOL
