Stupid Question re: pc_**** games :)

I know that a bunch of other people are having problems with running this game, due to framerate (50% at Frameskip 11???? WHAT!?!?). I have not tried this yet, but I want to get the opinion of everyone else. I know that recording with speed throttling is looked down on, but how about for Play Choice games? Just curious
