A very small complaint, Chris, and it is not intended to insult/put
down/any other negative thing, so don't worry :)

I'm worried about framerate with these larger games. I know, I know,
it was developed in 1990, so it isn't that old, but did you take into
account what kind of computers everyone in k1 has? I will still send
in an inp for this, don't get me wrong; I just don't know about my
framerate (I'm writing this at school, so I haven't tried it yet on
my computer; watch it all of a sudden run 100% :) )

Also, and this is a wild guess, but I'm assuming that you'll only
accept MAME32.36 Final, right? No DOS, no unofficial, no nothing?

Sincerely,

J.D. Lowe

P.S. May I be the first to say "Good luck" to all the other
participants, and may the best man/woman/llama win :)

Sure, good luck to all. The first game is actually an interesting
one; I'd like to see somebody finish it on one credit before the week
is up. :) Dunno that it'll be me, though, cause it gets wicked hard
around stage 10.

First, the game is chosen without regards to machines sorry. Reducing
frames per second to keep 100% is allowed. And the speed rule can be
bent for honest exceptions, ONLY.

Second, the game should be a nice challenge, as only 5 players are
going to be eliminated by it.

Third, the game has been put on hold to Monday to try to fix the
Mame32 WinMame issue. Practice and stay tuned.

Chris, i don't understand....

Only Mame32 is to be used or not?

If yes why? mame is dos-native, mame32 is not the real mame, on the
others side mame32 is slower than mame under windos.

Just a quick suggestion; since some of the emphasis is on the fact
that this is for TG recognition, why not make it the TG ver. of
MAME? Aurail was put into MAME in .34, and the most up to date ver.
of TG MAME is .35, so I don't see a problem. Of course, now that I
say that, someone's gonna come in and yell at me about how TG MAME
doesn't work, or something like that (my ideas never work :) ).

Sincerely,

JD, I didn't know TGMame35 did emulate the game. I was under the
assumption that it didn't arrive until sometime during the 36 cycle.
Stay tuned during the weekend on that issue...
