I am humbled. Both JoustGod and AlexLux have taken my btime scores, and I wanted to make sure that EVERYONE noticed. These are incredible scores, and I hope today to rank among them. I bow down once more :)

Sincerely,

P.S. If any PR from Burger King comes in and asks who I am, tell them that I was never here, ok? :)

Yeah sorry about that JD...... I could only manage a 3.7 million over
at D2K but I'll try real hard in a couple of months to break the 4
million like you wanted.... ;-p

JoustGod's score was no surprise to me, but AlexLux's was. However,
AlexLux is wrong in one respect. He says that the maximum on Burger
Time is around 5,100,000, which it isn't. I think Billy Mitchell has
actually scored around 6M on a real machine, and that's not even the
limit...

AlexLux's .inp was pretty clean, but he sacrifices a life and
(therefore) pepper at the 4th screen of every round. Nor did he have a
pattern for the 5th screen. He reaches the 22nd
burger/round/stage/wave/level/whatever. Score: 4.3M.

JoustGod's .inp is not as clean as AlexLux's, but he does have a
pattern for the 5th screen. He gets to the 21st burger. Score: 4.2M.

J.D.'s .inp doesn't have patterns for the 2nd, 5th, and 6th screens.
He reaches the 27th burger. It's pretty clean. Score 3.8M.

Note: With "pattern", here, I mean getting lots of perfect drops where
all the enemies fall.

My conclusion is that if someone were to take these 3 .inps, study
them, and extract the best pieces, a score of 7M should be possible...

Cheers,
Ben Jos.

6M is probable, but not very soon. After a day of btime, I need a
vacation from the game; maybe a couple of months.

I have the upmost respect for JoustGod, but I think that AlexLux has
the best chance of breaking 5M first. Both of their inps were
INCREDIBLE, but AlexLux's game was the first to show that patterns
are not necessary if you've got some major skills. If he can combine
his inp with JoustGod's Level 5 inp, and perhaps check my Level 21
pattern that developed close to the end, he can have a pretty good
shot. Good luck to you two for reaching the impossible, and in a
couple of months, I'll join the btime fray again.

Sincerely,

If you want to know what the maximum score is for Burgertime or very
close to it, it's right around 8M. How I know? well, let's say
while staying with Billy and Chris Ayra for 4 days while up at the
Funspot tourney, Chris showed me a book of notes extremely detailed,
every stage up to the kill screen and a few past and noted that it's
possible to reach just around 8M pts. Chris has already gotten over
7M and Billy has a score much higher then what he's got in the book.
I saw the notes the two of them made from 1985 and they were still in
great condition! Recently, Chris purchased a cocktail BT machine to
add to his game game room in his house and believe me when I say
this, come next year at Funspot, Chris will be going for an 8M game,
if Billy doesn't beat him to it! :)

A kill screen in btime? That would be interesting to see. I gotta
find a way to Funspot to check that out. Did either Chris or Billy
say what level the kill screen was?
