Should spiker be moved?

Shouldn't spiker be moved to a star game(no points) because it has a maximum score? I don't know if you've talked about that already.

I vote aye to that motion. GB9

My bad, we actually had a precedent vote about this. We're supposed
to be subtracting points for vs. points against, although I think
that that will be pointless (bad pun) for otwalls, since a perfect
game is pretty damn easy. Then again, seems to me that otwalls also
can be set to a harder difficulty.

I don't know, I'd rather toss both of them in the archive bin. They
aren't terribly involving games and neither takes much skill when
compared to a similar game such as, say, Goalie Ghost or even Hat
Trick.

Considering the type of games I think that we can quietly archive
them.

Another game with many tie is shanghai : all players scored 144 and
plaiyng it I see that
you play every time the same game (you had to do always the same
things)
I think that this is another game to archive

Hello,

two other games which can be moves as far as I am concerned
are:

Amazing maze - When using the Pause-butten this game is easy because
the only difficulty is the time limit.
Name that Tune - Look at my recording for this game (which is in 3rd
place).

Bye, Arjen...

Spiker : I vote for the goal-average scoring system

I want to add that it took me more than 2 hours to win my first match
on spiker, and by the narrowest margin (11-9) ; so I think this game
is not so easy (but maybe it's me who's damn bad at this game) and I
wonder if somebody could win by 11-0 (I checked one of the "11-tie
scores" input and it was a defeat by 0-11 !!)

I think we should adopt the excellent scoring system tested by skito
on aof3 : score would be 10*attack - defense (for example my victory
11-9 would score 101) ; I would be surprised if there were so much
ties after that

And if the idea goes on , maybe we could do the same for all soccer
games ?

I've done the scoring test and it doesn't add a whole lot of
resolution to the scores, this one belongs in the * bin.

can you still upload scores to *gamename, by using the gamename (with
out the star) when submiting? you should be able to do this just not
get points for it.
