mas' KoF '98 recording

is it just me or does newcomer (?) mas' recording on KoF '98 refuse to work? I've tried Windows and DOS MAME 0.36 final, sound on and off, acceleration throttled and normal...

I just want to know since I don't want to bother doing a new recording to beat a score that doesn't properly play back. Guess it's yet another Neo game that's only going to work on older versions?

i can't get it to playback either, It's unfortunate cause it looks
like a bitching score, perhaps even better than yours that i just
recently was able to playback and confirm. now that two confirmers
haven't been able to play this one back, the score will be zeroed for
lack of playbackablity.

I've mailed mas but he hasn't gotten back to me on any special
settings he might have used to get it to playback....

I've already flagged MAS for recording on Last Blade 2. It's obvious
that he hasn't read the rules page. Maybe someone whose e-mail is
working could send him the URL?

I'm going to zero the kof98 score cause i still can't get it to
playback, too bad.

To Q.T.: when you delete a game, make sure you write down which game
it was in the notes and why you deleted it. So mas can look at his
recordings and figure out what he needs to do for which game
recordings... (if you don't remember i had to put in the lastbld2 in
the description, unless you were editing it at the same time i
was...) it would be rather disrespectfull to just delete all the
recordings with out any warning of why or such, of course it's just
as disrespectfull to upload recordings that don't playback or with
autofire but ....

Respect? I would expect players to at least read the rules and broken
games page once. If a game isn't listed fine, but if it is, it should
be the player's responsibility.

yeah, like you actually read the rules here when you first uploaded.
:) if i remeber correctly you couldn't find the rules page. maybe he
can't read english well so it's hard to navigate sites, it's like one
of us trying to upload on the japanese mamenavi (well not you since
you know that language i think.)

LOL! All right, you caught me Chad. Do you have a list of my .inps
that don't play back, or do I have to circulate through my collection
to find them? I guess that I find myself far too busy calming down
irate people on message boards to always have time to check my
submissions...

Q.T.Quazar, who is still laughing...

"Bleedingly close to finishing,-cheat used to take advantage of
two/three/four buttons at once."

I'm a thinkin' that .inp should prob'ly git scrapped.
