t3 cancelled ?

I note that among the 10 games, there are 4 platform games ( gaunt2, ghouls, ninja, xenophob )Am I wrong ? A platform game, for me, is a game where you have to advance and shoot all you see. And it's the case for these four games. I thought it was not more than two games per category... So, we should cancel the tournament...

I think you are wrong
<p>
To me a platform game is one where you run around a level and
specifically jump up onto platforms. This would therefore make
ghouls and ninjak2a the only platform games.
<p>
By the original definitions from my C64 days, gaunt2 and xenophob are
the arcade/adventure genre, where you play the game on a flat level.
<p>

Cancelling a tournament 3 days from the end for such a reason seems
to me a little bit drastic.....<br>If we'll hopefully play 8 games in
the next tournaments, we'll not have 4 games of a kind again
(damn....I DO hate platforms !!!!)

Yeah cancelling the tournament would be quite harsh now - ESPECIALLY
since we're on the verge of another record coming up... stay tuned to
see what I'm talking about...

Cancelling tournament, heh heh. But ou are allmost right. Xenophobe,
ninjakid2 and ghouls are all platform games=jumping on platform (and
shooting), and I HATE them all. Gauntlet is not platform, the
gameplay is totally different.
We should have noticed this earlier and dumped most
awful/ugly/perverted/sickest/frustrating game there is: Xenophobe
(sorry, Xenophobe fans?)

In my opinion collect them up games are so good, that there could be
more than 2 games included in same tournament.
