If a game wasn't added until 35, then it's impossible to record it
using 33b4. So if people are submitting scores on carnvckt, then
those were not recorded using carnvckt, but a different version of
that game. Wasn't there a rule that said it was not allowed to record
on one game and submit it on another, even if it plays back fine?

What is really happening here, is that people can now basically
upload twice for the same game!!! So they record on carnival and
upload to carnival, then record on carnival again (or, even worse,
use the same recording (not allowed!)) and submit it to carnvckt. Is
that fair? And has it ever been determined if the two games really
are identical? Take this a little bit further, and I could record
some game and upload it to a completely different game. After all, it
plays back fine...

So:
(1) A recording made using carnvckt will not play back correctly,
regardless of which version of MAME is used.
(2) No recording made on any game using any version of MAME will play
back correctly on carnvckt, regardless of which version of MAME is
used.

In other words, you can't record anything correctly with carnvckt,
and you can't play back anything correctly with carnvckt, so people
are uploading things to carnvckt that don't have anything to do with
carnvckt in the first place. So carnvckt should be put on the banned
games list, just like the other games for which recordings don't play
back correctly.

Cheers,
Ben Jos.
