I know there's been some debate, but I'd like to see what you're looking for precisely here.

oh... in case you're wondering... all rulings i've said in the matter are now null and void.

The maximum number of games I'll probably allow is five.

Previously the rule was something weird on my rules page which I don't understand anymore... hehehe :)

So now my opinion stands at everyone gets 5 games, unless you voted and didn't play all of the games - then you can only vote for say... 3 or less games depending on how many you played.

Let me know your official opinion, then I can reach a conclusion. Thanks :)

so if you voted but were upset with the game selection results OR the
tournament goings on and decided not to enter tournement 2 or started
to enter but realized you wouldn't have any fun before you entered
all the games, you are penalized by having two less votes?

If this is a democracy, even if you're a disgruntaled postal worker
you should be allowed to have the same voting power as the president.
But it's proly not a democracy?

My opinion on all of this is: it's getting WAY TOO COMPLICATED!!

I say let anyone and everyone have 3 (maybe 5) votes and that's that.

Don't look for something complicated and choose the simplicity : we
are all equal and that's all ! Same number of votes for everyone is
the only way to be fair.

The only way to be fair is to randomly select the games. I don't know
why this method has fallen into disfavour. Any other method is
biassed, simple as that. For every argument on fairness there is an
equally valid counter argument showing its fallacies so we are
'spinning our wheels' over this every time it is dragged up. We seem
to spend a whole lot of time arguing on how / what games to play and
less time having fun playing them. I also can't understand the rule
behind why you have to play every game in the tournament to qualify.
Just give players 0 points for games they don't play - isn't this
penalty enough? I can't imagine wanting to play all games in any
tournament. I'd be grateful is someone would explain the reason
behind this ruling. This and the arguments about game selection are
the two compelling reasons preventing me from playing in the
tournaments.

All gamers should be equal - and no one should be more equal than the
others !
Let's choose the easy way!
