At this point, my utility to enter scores into the highscore file
supports the following games: ckong, ckonga, ckongalc, ckongjeu,
ckongo, ckongs, dkjrbl, dkjrjp, dkngjrjp, dkong, dkong3, dkongjp,
dkongjr, fantasy, galaga, galaga84, galagab2, galagads, galagamw,
gallag, gyruss, gyrussce, kangarob, kangaroo, kungfub, kungfub2,
kungfud, kungfum, ldrun, ldrun2, ldrun3, ldrun4, ldruna, monkeyd,
pootan, pooyan, pooyans, scramblb, scramble, scrambls

Every game (combined with all its clones) is in a separate source
file, so that means that whenever things are changed (usually when I
add support for more games), I have to recompile the program. Ideally,
all the characteristics of how the scores for a particular game are
stored would be in a separate (more or less human-readable) file, like
an .ini file in Windows. This is going to be quite a lot of work,
though, and I don't feel like doing that any time soon. From looking
at the few games my utility supports now, the number of different
things that would have to be specified for each and every game is more
than 20, and that number will probably grow considerably when more
games are added. Additionally, the program would probably have to be
recompiled frequently anyway, since those new games may require
something that I had not encountered in the games I've analysed to
far.

Until I've decided exactly how I am going to solve this, I'd rather
keep the source to myself. Meanwhile, anyone who is running Windows 9x
or NT can e-mail me, and I'll send them the executable.
