Hi All,
Can someone tell me what exactly is Hyper Olympics `84 ? I`ve never seen or heard of this in the arcades. I know, I know..your thinking " why don`t you download it yourself and find out ". Well, as an absolute non-programmer-novice-type ( the embarrassment of it..), I`m not too sure how to. The versions of MAME I play on were installed by a friend of mine. However, this weekend he will show me "the ropes"..as it were, hands on. I only need to be shown once.
But the curiousity factor is getting to me. I see that Game Guru has uploaded a score of 280k. Does this mean that there are more events? Are they the same/different or what ?
I`ll know the answer by Saturday, but being an impatient sort, I`d be grateful if someone could answer my query before then...( please ).

PS: We can only hope the ABs beat the Boks in the 3rd/4th playoff or
we'll have to play in the qualifying rounds for the next world cup.

If I remember correctly (I'm at work at the moment) Hyper Olympics '84
is a clone of Hyper Sports and not a clone of Track 'n Field (Hyper
Olympics). So it is the game with swimming, skeet shooting, etc and
not restricted to 1 round only.
