Tourney 2 - Time to Pick Your Games!

I know... I'm two hours early... but if I waited until 0000 GMT, I would have to wait until perhaps 0230 GMT due to the fact that I have a college class.

So therefore... I'm going to open the voting now! Remember... all should pick ten games, the fav. is worth 10 points, the 10th fav. is worth 1 point. The deadline is at least October 10th, and at most October 24th. This deadline is being established by Pat Laffaye, our judging coordinator. The format would be SOMETHING like this:

Game - 10 pts

Game - 9 pts

skip a few

Game - 2 pts

Game - 1 pt

PLEASE read the voting rules before voting - I just uploaded a new set.

OK... i'll let you go - have fun :)

OK, then here goes...

Comprised of some of my favourites...

In order - most favourite (10 pts) first...
10 pts: Street Fighter II (what a surprise, huh?)
9 pts: Rolling Thunder
8 pts: Rainbow Islands
7 pts: Fatal Fury (another fighter - but I like them, discount it
if you want...)
6 pts: Elevator Action (for all those who like older games that I am
no good at...)
5 pts: Ninja Kid II (alternate set - I would like to see this one
finished...)
4 pts: Mysterious Stones (let's hope for some outrageously high
score here...)
3 pts: Ninja Commando
2 pts: Return of the Invaders
1 pt: Rygar

Well, that's my selection...

OK... a couple things before I vote - remember that if you vote for
the tournament, you need to play nine games to vote for the next
tournament. However, you may recant your vote or change your vote at
any time.

Now... the moment we've all been waiting for! My picks for games!

10 pts - Quarth

9 pts - Outrun

8 pts - Sente Mini-Golf

7 pts - Mad Gear <- This and outrun are two different types of games.

6 pts - Pnickies - MvdV gave me incentive :)

5 pts - Magical Drop 3 - Magical Journey

4 pts - MegaMan - The Power Battle(that's not a clone, right? Let me
know if it is)

3 pts - Twinkle Twin Sprites

2 pts - FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT! Oh come on... you
gotta see a good food fight!

1 pt - Space Harrier

All oldies for me. Not just because I like them, but also because my
poor Pentium MMX 200 (overclocked to 225) has a LOT of trouble with
the newer games.

10 pts: Crazy Kong. 9 pts: Donkey Kong. 8 pts: Pooyan. 7 pts: Lode
Runner. 6 pts: Scramble. 5 pts: Track 'n Field. 4 pts: Donkey Kong
Jr. 3 pts: Fantasy. 2 pts: Moon Patrol. 1 pt: Space Panic.

OK. I guess Galaga is out since it was in the last tournament. You
guys are really making it hard on me; I only play 10 games or so (and
even less than that with any frequency). :-) Well, at least this
tournament is a good way for me to get to know some more games. Here's
my re-revised list:

10 pts: Donkey Kong. 9 pts: Pooyan. 8 pts: Lode Runner. 7 pts:
Scramble. 6 pts: Track 'n Field. 5 pts: Donkey Kong Jr. 4 pts:
Fantasy. 3 pts: Moon Patrol. 2 pts: Space Panic. 1 pt: Hunchback.
