His nibbler recording uses the f1 level skip, not early levels but when he gets to level 17 or so. Why the heck do you do that Phil ?
You seem a pretty good player, wich should not need to cheat.

Dear Stig , I never pressed F1 during my recording ; simply after
level 15 the game sometimes stopped before I 've eaten all the points,
and sometimes not (and I don't know why).
And after level 32 when you die sometimes you have to restart the
level from the beginning and sometimes not (also a mystery for me)

Maybe you are right, Phil. Anybody that can confirm this flaw in
Nibbler ?

Stig,

Did you try pressing F1 in Nibbler? I just tried, and it doesn't do anything... Maybe we should give people the benefit of the doubt before accusing them of cheating, even if they *are* French! (That's intended as a joke, by the way) - remember how we lost JGustavo's presence here not so long ago?

I just checked the .inp file. The summary of its contents is as follows:

32587 frames were spent with no input at all.

1 frame was spent inserting a coin.

4 frames were spent pressing the start button.

914, 962, 1076 and 1118 frames were spent pushing the joystick in the 4 different diagonal positions.

6782, 7617, 7975 and 8984 frames were spent pushing the joystick in non-diagonal positions.

No frames were spent pressing F1, or any other suspect key combination.
