Long time no speak.

I really don't have any real "topic" to contribute to this, other than it's been a long time since I've spoken to many of you.

Whatever beef we may have had in the past, I hope that enough time has passed to resolve that.

I'm doing good! Married my best friend early last year, no kids (thank goodness) and I too lost many of my first places; I came out of "retirement" a couple of weeks ago to take back the Twin Galaxies Burger Time MAME record, though, so that made me happy

But on a sad note, Ben Jos won't be coming back. He actually passed away in February 2013.

sorry to hear a fellow player passed away .. we all have a common bond with these games and this site ..

Apparently, many weren't aware of his passing, and I'm sorry to have just said it in such a manner.

He passed away in February 2013. QRS was friends with him on Facebook, and saw a post saying that he had passed; doing the research, there's only one Benjamin Joseph Walbeehm that lived in Florida, and it confirmed the date.

I wasn't able to find a cause of death, and frankly, I kinda don't want to. He deserves as much respect as he can get.

On a slightly more positive note, I am WAY more active on Facebook than I am anywhere else, and you guys were practically family back in the day, so feel free to look up JD Lowe.

You'll know who I am based on the profile pic. I promise.

Ohh no, very sad news... I didn't know him in person but I did get to know him because we talked many times on irc.
We used to talk about games, women, programming... he was so friendly :(
