I can only get this to playback to 410 points - AlphaMAMEs 0.70-1, 0.70u1, 0.70u2, 0.70u4 and AlphaMAME32 0.70-1 all the same.

i get 14k with sound samples
desyncs at begin of round 3

I got 410 with out artwork, with artwork I get a different playback score randomly below or around 1k. I tried the *.sam astdelux samples and *.wav astdelux samples, none of them seem to get much more than 1k playback. If a third can't get close to what tar got, it will be a zero.

Wow, I've never bothered with samples or artwork. Didn't know they affected INP playback. It's obvious now I consider it!

I played it again and got 410 with and without nvram
I did learn that I get the 14,520 only , when playback is in window mode (Ctrl - Alt - Enter)
I use windows XP still

Hmmm... I still get 410 when started in full screen and then switch.

tar, do you have the .sam or .wav files in your samples dir? also what artwork crc image are you holding?

there is also an issue of nvram file here, I just got 2560 using no artwork and .sam samples files, but with default nvram it gets 500.

i think i got the 2,500 score once
samples are the same i think
try my recreation attempt , takes 1 minute to coin to register
was reconfiguring the buttons
-noartwork
-nosound
may need to delete entire sample folder (temporarily)

tar, yours playsback perfectly with out samples or artwork. I guess ths means if the other player did use tgmame70, then samples and artwork can corrupt recording inps.
