I can't confirm these because I can't get sound working in my windows for this old of a mame. Did you get sound working and notice the message credits may not be entered if sound is not working?

Sound, what's that? I get the same scenario whether MAME is informed to use silence or Sound Blaster... as to where it gets played: no speakers. I'll try from a different PC some other time.
