Bosconian settings + leeching

I'm sure you guys know this better than I do, but it seems many versions of MAME have incorrect default extend settings for this game. Most versions (specifically v0.106 and before) use 10000/50000/every 50000. Thing is, even all the flyers mention that it's supposed to be 20000/70000/every 70000. It seems the default config wasn't fixed until 0.133u1, unless I'm misreading the changelog.
While it doesn't help that a lot of the current Bosconian scores are so old, it does help that the "unlimited" TGTS settings were always the arcade defaults (difficulty A/medium, 20000/70000/every 70000). Some of the scores should be correct, at least.
Also, I'm told that Bosconian has easy leeching like Time Pilot. Is this really feasible with Condition Red?
