1 Man Track For Dark Tower

Congratulations to Brian for taking the record for Dark Towers!!! I'll be trying for the record sometime in the near future :). I was thinking, I would like to see a 1 man track for this game since it looks like it could be marathoned. That would definitely put a little extra difficulty into it. I really enjoy these types of challenges and so I was hoping the top players for this game would consider this separate track. Could we get a vote this?? Thanks

Usually a game being marathoned tends to involve a large number of extra lives, and if I remember correctly, this game gives you none. You get just 3 lives, no more, no less. (Although the DIP switch settings are largely unknown, there might be settings to change that). It's more that it's just a game that would appear to be rather easy with a bit of practice, more a sign that it's a poorly written game with 99% of its graphics ripped from other games, and even more lazily, used the sound hardware (and sound program) from Double Dragon. (There, got that off my chest)
Not to mention, that simpsons99 will hate you forever if you dare mess with his favourite game. ;)

No I would change anything with this game .. You have to get 5 Million to get your first life .

Only 3 players have seen this ..

Seems to count 5 Million per free guy .. I would know this for sure .. I almost got 15 Million that would have been other guy.

The game can be easy if your just hitting things without any skill of the patterens for the perfect screens .

My other recording had 10 million without dieing .

If the way things are from others . It should be my choice to have this go to a vote .. I say no.. I LOVE THIS GAME .

TY for noticing my score .

TY for your interest in my score . .. I notice these posts are from people that dislike me for the most part .

Again I say no .. I am the world record holder .

Correct grammar is your friend, but if you're really saying you would change anything...then I agree with you. Change anything and everything.

When you say this:
The game can be easy if your just hitting things without any skill of the patterens for the perfect screens .
Then this makes more sense:
I LOVE THIS GAME .
I am the world record holder .
Since when?

I am not saying you are Brian, but this line is extremely ironic.

I admit, sometimes I miss things in forum posts...but if you're not going to apply some basic rules of written English to your posts then you can't expect people to understand what you write.
what an Idiot ..
I might be an idiot, but at least I can figure out how to watch INPs in newer versions of MAME. By the way, did you ever read the post I wrote about how to do that? I made a concerted effort to help you, specifically...a fellow gamer in need of assistance.
Go the hell away
You're the one who publicly mocked a score I achieved that was announced by a good friend of mine. Regardless of the quality of the score or the game, you (and you alone) brought negativity into a situation in which your opinion was not requested. It's not surprising you can't see the irony here. I will never go away Brian. As long as you continue to communicate poorly, treat others poorly, and make claims of your gaming superiority by posting poor scores on poor games, I will be here to call you out every step of the way.

Something very strange is going on with this game. Estel told me he did not get the free guy at 5 Million.. I was in shock I had always gotten the free guy at 5 Million.. Now playing tonight for some strange reason I do not get the Free Guy at 5 Million.
But I get the Free Guy at 10 Million.

Then something strange happens I die and it takes 2 lifes from me .

It's almost as if this game is a buggy POS. Huh.

Um.... you hit a bug, so by definition that makes the program "buggy", although the level of bugginess is clearly low.
simpsons99 wrote:first time I've ever seen this
That means the circumstances where you encounter the bug are not frequently encountered, but it still means the programmer unintentionally put a bug in their logic when your game interactions result in it following a different code path in their logic! :)

Cheers,
BeeJay.
