Re: TimeTrial 2013 - R3 - Power Drift (Course A) [pdrift]
hi Rax,
i can assure you, the gear stick is not on my screen.
it ruins the race because sometimes i start the next race in top gear, and lose 5 places.

That's true kernzy, but can be fixed in that way:kernzy wrote:hi Rax,

first completely delete the default.cfg and the pdrift.cfg then restart your game and re-set your control panel as your wishes.
and ta-daaahh your gear stick is magically back on your screen!!

First time I've managed to complete track 3, so I guess I'll submit this in case I can't do any better over the next couple of days.

To display the gear stick, go to the Video Options menu, make sure Bezels are enabled, and select either Shifter-L or Shifter-R for the gear stick on the lower-left or lower-right. Selecting Standard (4:3) will also disable displaying the gear stick.
It is enabled by default in 0.150.

Re: TimeTrial 2013 - R3 - Power Drift (Course A) [pdrift]
Attention Please, time measurement method change for this turn.
We must go back to frame count in this turn too. I have checked back all the inps, and there's not changes in the standings, but framecount is more trusty than in-game chronometer.
After a report from Krj I did some more tests: the global chronometer adds sometimes seconds with no reason. For example, Krj and SFChampion's inps starts after the green light directly with a second. Dalar and Kernzy's don't, they start correctly with 00".
I initially thought to keep the in-game chronometer to ease our work, even if time-splits did not seem correct, because the global timer seemed at least trustworty.
But this random-seconds thing is not acceptable, I can't trust it anymore for the scoreboard.
So the method I'll use to count frame is: Start with the frame in which green light goes on, Stop in the frame when your car appears in the table at the center of the screen of the last completed stage.
If you are in doubt with a inp if it's better or not of your previous one, feel free to post it and I'll check it.
Now the new standings, there are some problems.
- Paulo Valmir's best inp is recorded 88% speed, so I put in the table the first one: It's still slow (96%) but acceptable. Please check your PC.
- Kernzy's inp is 96% speed too, same thing.
- Beejay's inp is not attached to post
1 - (Stage5) 18.116 frames [05min 02sec] - Krj - download - Ok - 25 pts
2 - (Stage5) 18.470 frames [05min 08sec] - Kernzy - download - Ok - 20 pts
3 - (Stage5) 18.520 frames [05min 09sec] - Paulo Valmir - download - Ok - 16 pts
4 - (Stage5) 18.812 frames [05min 14sec] - DaLar - download - Ok - 13 pts
5 - (Stage3) 10.682 frames [02min 58sec] - SFCHAMPION - download - Ok - 11 pts
6 - (Stage2) 7.049 frames [01min 57sec] - CrazyKongFan - download - Ok - 10 pts

I told you Kernzy, it's a funny game.
Re: TimeTrial 2013 - R3 - Power Drift (Course A) [pdrift]
I hate it. Had a replay ready of stage 4 completed.... it desyncs.

Re: TimeTrial 2013 - R3 - Power Drift (Course A) [pdrift]
And again. Managed to finish stage 4, but replay desyncs "most of the times". For absurd, it runs well some of the times I play it with turbo speed.
I didn't manage to get the final real frame needed for the count, I got a more-or-less of ~15400 frames in the final frame, 768 (or 786? bad memory) is the first frame.
I'll try again, especially because ONCE AGAIN I AM THERE AT A STEP TO END. It's a curse!
The zip has a snapshot I took to a correctly replayed INP. I would have sent the PNG file in higher quality, but the maximum allowed size for uploads doesn't allow me such file.

Re: TimeTrial 2013 - R3 - Power Drift (Course A) [pdrift]
I thought i could make this game complete but due to a part time job offer i have very little time for entertainment in these days. I just practiced to 3rd stage ...
By the way very hard to control the Physics rules in this game...
Here is my little record...

Re: TimeTrial 2013 - R3 - Power Drift (Course A) [pdrift]
Am I the only one using the keyboard....?
I changed nothing and actually don't see all this difficulty. My fail depends on the lack of practice only.
