Loses sync on stage 2-1 for me, ending at just over 69m.

I thought this one would work as I deleted everything (diff, cfg and nvram) before recording, am I missing something?? I did the same before checking it played back and it worked fine.

Ok, tried the win32 version via Wine, and it played back fine. So I guess either it was some freak error, or is some 32-bit<->64-bit incompatibility.

Hi Barry
I have recorded another inp for this game, but just deleted the nvram before I recorded it and left the cfg and diff files alone, now it plays back for me up to the score I actually got (which is higher than what I have so far posted) so do you think this one will be alright if I upload it??

You'll need to delete both the diff and nvram files. The cfg is probably not so important, but to be sure it should be removed unless you need to use it.

Thanks for that, although I've been doing that with the others I've uploaded and you seem to be struggling to get them to playback - they always playback for me. Oh well maybe I should move onto another game, sorry for any problems caused.

Just wondering, are you using the supplied batch files to record/playback, ui.tcl, or are deleting the files manually. NVRAM can reside in the folder set by -nvram_directory, or in a subfolder from there named from the game, depending on if the device handling the NVRAM is a legacy device or a modern one. By default, this would be either nvram/ganename.nv (legacy) or nvram/gamename/devicename (modern).
Setting nvram_directory to NUL will, of course, solve everything.

I have been deleting everything manually. I went thru all the folders and deleted everything with the name shikigam except the chd file itself. Also attached is the inp I made just deleting the nvram and I was wondering does it playback at all for you?

Plays back, but I don't quite get the same score...
