This one flaged by our newest vocal member tk2007. I also can't play this one back, passes the first speed run, but fails the ski jump on both attempts. That makes it two strikes against. One more and it will be dqued.

Well, I saw the ski jumping well done!
In first attempt didnt move. In the 2nd attempt started at 02 seconds before time is up! I also saw the 3rd event, but not the 4th.

Well, seems to be a not properly working playback, maybe u should remove it?

The policy is : to reduce mistakes by the playbackers, 3 people (strikes) are required to remove it. So if one more person confirms they can't then we will.

You mean that u need 3 persons to confirm that this playback doesn't work?! I thought moderator was enough. And what if the 3rd person doesnt come?
Ok, we are the two, just one more plz! It will take just a couple of minutes.

I just made a real score in this game so I m waiting to see it first! :D \:D/

Maybe it's a case of random desync, but I'm quite sure I manage to play it back once when I played this game (long time ago).
Need some testing with newer versions, but I'm in holiday and will leave again tomorrow, so testing will be later ...

Feel free to zero it, 6000 is a crap score, my arcade hi is 10547 with russian player, so as soon as game will playback properly I will be back on this one for sure .

Crap or no crap, no one else made a better.
Not even from my score( 4472 after 4 events)

Did u find anywhere DECATHLETE ? :D
(13415 was a really big score)

PS. Did u start Ski jumping at 2nd attempt 2 seconds before time over?

Don't remember (more than 1 year ago), it can be sign of desync, but also (some of my inputs have) sign of an attack from my twins while playing :?
I perfectly understand what Alpha said recently on this forum (work+child) ....

Please use newer wolf versions (from 113) for recordings where something was changed with sound emulation (mame 112u3).

Can we have a link for this version plz?
Will it work in this version?

we dont remove a game because it can't playback actually we keep the recordings at zero so we know where they are. You can get any version by checking the "get MAME" links on the marp search results.

http://wolfmame.marpirc.net/wolfmame-0113.exe
http://wolfmame.marpirc.net/wolfmame-0117.exe

Of course you probably won't use this one as it doesn't have a front end gui. Honestly, for many of us, it's much easier to use the batch script (that is included) to record your games. As instead of pointing and clicking about 4 different times to restart your game, you can just hit up arrow (to echo the last command entered) and return to restart mame in record mode. But if you really can't use it, then there are many a la carte front ends that will work with any mame including those ones.

I m afraid I did not understood much of your last post.
Your links give Mames which are not in 32 form so I cant use them.
At least tell me something, with these version do Winter Heat's playbacks work properly?

as stated elsewhere when you asked about it, there are separate front-end loaders for the newer wolfmame versions where for wolfmame all you get is the command-line version.

the CLI is not that difficult to use for actual playing and recording...but is a major pain for rom database maintenance etc.

it sounds like that winter games game might have the issue where for older versions like 104 the playback won't work if you recorded with sound on.

this was fixed for most starting with later versions...so you can test making a recording and test the playback of this and other games you are having difficulty with in the last few versions to see if it works.

Please use EmuLoader frontend. It's very friendly frontend for CLI MAME.
