Dix used Japan MVS 3 (bios) instead of default (Euro) settings.
Do I have to tell ya about those NeoGeo bugs/bios settings. You should know better than that.
Why don't you stop by IRC someday and we'll chat from there. Hehee!

i used to be all combinatorial with settings but for bios settings i'd rather be loud enough so someone will mention which bios setting they were using next time... irc takes too much time :)
answer: it works with "-bios 5"

note: this recording does not work with -bios 0. you should also circle an image where mame tells you how to find the bios Option # for (Japan).

Why? It tells you exactly what the bios option is set to. It can be either a string or a number. In this case, -bios japan was specified.

New inp from Dix, this time 199.
As max=200, I'm starting to wonder if we need to install a new scoring also based on time (like for tekken) to avoid future ties.
Opinions ?

avoiding future ties is good, but are you going to score it like a partial racing game if one doesn't finish?

oh i was giving the respect to japan i.e. captalizing it and it didn't work, i.e. Note: -bios Japan does not work.

The idea is only to glu time bonus to actual scores.
Look for aof3, it gives a good example.
But maybe we can add time bonus ONLY for a finished game

Now we have several ties with score = 200, I've changed scoring for samsho5 (now it is like aof3) so that time also counts.
Can someone playback this one :

I don't have this DDemame 0.111 u6

Should be zeroed for using a u release in the first place, really.

I've only got ddemame37b16. Thanks so much Phil for the score changes, that's much better!
I would love to zero the recording but there isn't a strict rule that says only official versions of mame should be used.

But there is one that says that you can't use update versions (ie: u1, u2...). Ask Tommi, it was his idea.

Barry is right, this is rule 3a (I had forgotten this one).
So Vansibel's score is zeroed.
But I'm just curious to know his completion time : if someone manage to play it back, thanks to post there

For info, if you finish the game, it seems to keep remanent milliseconds in memory and counts them in the total when you enter your name in the hall of fame, as shown below with Mike_Myers input.
An old NeoGeo habit
