Anyways, watched the inp, hard to tell if there's difference in gameplay compared to default bios.
I'm not sure if changing bios should be accepted at MARP. At some games the difficulty can change a lot if you use other bios, good example where you clearly notice this is Puzzle de Pon...less colours at other bios.
So in a way using different bios woul be like changing difficulty, or more like playing another romset.
Of course the fact that he beated my score makes this more difficult for myself to be the judge.

As stated before the -bios option for NeoGeo is just it's way of having sets for different regions.
For CPS1 games you have maybe 10 different sets of scores for one game, in most cases the actual roms and gameplay are *less* different than the differences between the NeoGeo BIOS roms. Most Taito games are *1* byte different between versions, what does it matter if that byte is in a cartridge rom, or a bios rom, it's still 1 byte, it still changes the region and often the game.
The only *fair* way to do it would be to split them by bios number, if MAME didn't have the -bios option this is how it would be handled, 8 (or however many) sets of each game, with only a different bios rom.
