Ghost Hunter - How Can I Properly Record ?

Post by RTM »

Hello everyone:

I'd like to submit a score for this title but can't figure out how to record an INP that plays back properly.

Is this a title that requires sound off, or a change in frameskip or anything like that ? So far all I can get it to play back thru is after you select the purple icon to start the game, and then it flashes thru some service mode screens.

Thansk !!

Records and plays back fine for me using WolfMAME .101, sound on, frameskip 0

Frameskip will be important in a lightgun game. Make sure you have it set to 0 (or at least a fixed number)

Hi Weehawk:

Much appreciated. I recorded earlier this morning a 29,940 and submitted...not quite the 30,540 that I got yesterday, but close enough for now. Thanks !!

Finally got it to work, but I had to use -override -noafs (why? I don't know).
Now it appears it has to be disqualified (as soon as Marp will be back) : average speed is a little under 87%, which is a very good advantage for this game
