i couldn't find any references to how to play this back so i thought i'd post to see if anyone could respond as how they got bbh's to playback here? I've tried sound and no sound, but no luck, doesn't finish first boss.

Zlk got BBH replay working while mahlemiut and I (NotMan) couldn't get pb working, due it desync on the 1st boss. It has do the NG hack/bootleg complier. Caseh and Gerhard's replays works for us, but not to BBH.

I'm not sure about Zlk.
We're trying to find what cause some games don't pb correctly. Mahlemuit has started a new thread about games that has pb problems. So, we could track which games has pb problems and hopefully send to M. Dev. to take look at it.
Later,

Do note that there no playback problems regarding Shock Troopers Second Squad. This only affects the bootleg version, Lansquenet 2004, the KOF bootlegs, KOF'96 and KOF'98 (as far as we are aware)
Shock Troopers Second Squad seems to work perfectly fine in 0.103.
I am aware that some of the KOF games use a different method of generating random number seeds (ie: doesn't use the RTC, but something else) but I know little else about it as yet. That being said, we have verified that KOF'96 works in wolf99, so this is not likely to be a compiler issue.

don't call this game Shock Troopers 2, this bootleg is an insult. :D
from what I can tell this seems to be something similar to the 0.63 bug, but it's something else that happened in 0.102 instead. It seems like people are in certain "sets" again, and so far the only other person who seems to be in my "set" is zlk as he can play back my recordings, and we've been unable to play back the same recordings. (none of syo.jp's KoF recordings on wolf102 work, or Gerhard's uploads on the KoF bootleg hacks)
or it could be a setting in mame.ini that we're completely missing. I really don't know. Something weird is going on here.

Out of context, but I see BBH has moved from Texas to Oregon.

That's about 1707 miles or 2747km's !

According to Google Earth, a bit over 3,000km from Harlingen to Portland. In a straight line, that is.

Yea I know what you mean.
It may be worth archiving this bootleg as I've just found a method to play through it with invincibility (practically!)
