hi. using macmame v.066.2. looking to playback .inp files. if .inp files found using other mame versions... is there anything i can do to convert them?
specifically looking for 255 lives trick on Mr.Do. thanks

Technically, you can't. While there is no real difference in the format of the INP file between MAME and MacMAME, there are differences in the emulated CPU cores, which can cause loss of sync (INPs only log input port data), although there is the odd exception.
If you ask nicely, maybe someone will make one in MAME 0.102, which you should quite easily be able to playback using X-MAME 0.102 (can be compiled under MacOS X). As far as I know, only fairly recent versions of X-MAME can be compiled under OS X.
