Can't playback this one :
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/5/9/9/sa ... olf100.zip

Strange because :
1-Sawys (joined by mail) can play it back, and we use exactly same cfg & OS
2-I can read the f1gp-b input (already confirmed) made with same version and one day later

BUt I also can't playback other f1gp or f1gp2 inputs like Zarouk's or Wonder's ones

It appeared to play properly for me, but I didn't try to figure out the score.

Did you enter something special in the command line ?
For me, it only pb the qualifying round (with a different time than the desc box) then the car is going the wrong way on the first race

No, no clue why it doesn't work for you.

Notman had the same playback problem than me, but he finally found a way to play it back ...
From the chat today :

<NotMan> Holy Crap! I finally got Saw's f1gp-a replay working.
<NotMan> I figured it out what causing the pb problem.
<phiphi2> tell me !!
<NotMan> Okay! Try create different folder for W100 in sub directory not in M directory.
<phiphi2> why ?
<NotMan> I think it cause to interfere the mame32ui.ini, due different complier/ different M version.
<NotMan> For example like running M35, M36, M60, W83 or whatever in same directory instead of separate directory.
<phiphi2> I thought about a ini pb, I've erased the mame32ui.ini
<phiphi2> but yes, I have several versions in the same folder
<NotMan> Try separate them in different sub directory.
<phiphi2> ok, but I don't like that, it's not very practical ; maybe Barry will find a way to avoid that ?
<phiphi2> I gonna try anyway to playback the f1gp inputs

oh so you were using mame32? ini files would potentially corrupt playback for sure, if that's what i'm gathering. it would make sense needing to make separate dirs if you want to preserve the ini state for each version and copy the ini when you use that version of mame32 (this may also go for the reg32svr state...

No ; I use the commandline version.
But as I was suspecting a "ini" problem, I erased all ini (including mame32ui.ini, probably created someday I occasionally launch mame32 version), and it doesn't fix the problem.
But when I put the mamep.exe & dll file in a separate directory (exactly like Notman did), I also got correct playback.

This is a solution, but it doesn't tell us from where the problem comes.
Plus I would like to keep all exe file in a same directory.

strange, so far i've always used the exe's and dll's in the mame root (renamed of course to their mameXXX.exe version), and haven't had problems (i have a lot of junk files there too that i haven't deleted yet that aparently aren't affecting it.)

Same for me ; I never had any problem ... till this f1gp thing.
All is in the root, all renamed with version number.
I really don't know what's wrong, maybe if I have time I will try again removing one by one those additional files remaining from older versions, just to know where the problem comes, if anybody find what's up.

And guess what ???
I've just managed to play Chika's f1gp-d correctly !! (OS used : XP)
and same stuff : desync at first race, pb correctly if I isolate m62 in a separate directory !!!

So we can say it isn't a wolfmame pb, or even a recent problem
