Screen sizes and Wolfmame .101

Post by landshark9 »

Has anyone run into issues with the screen being too large on some games?

For example, with grdius2b (haven't tried the others), the screen is so big that I cannot see my score or the powerup bar at the bottom. I've tried mame32plus and everything shows normally.

it's possible mame32 is not changing the screen resolution thus the video size would be as big as your desktop, which you can see all pixels on the normal desktop resolution. But regular mame might change the screen resolution which means you have to adjust your monitor to see smaller resultions and the screen size in the smaller resolution might be larger than your desktop and thus not show the edges of the game untill your monitor is adjusted, horiz/vert...

That's the problem. I can't adjust the width/height of the image because it's being displayed on a TV.
