xwolfmame 0.101

Post by jekyll »

Is it possible to get a new version of xwolfmame? I don't see it listed at the download page. Since Twingalaxies is now accepting version .101, it would be nice to have a linux version.

Yes TG accept wolf101, but I don't know nothing about accepting xwolf101.

even if/when there is a xwolfmame101 build, TG would need to approve this.

It really comes down to it not having bugs the Windows version doesn't have....and the inps being 100% compatible with the windows version of wolfmame. I think that is the case for only some games.

if so...then fine. most if not all TG refs use windows. I am not sure any of us have linux on a PC to even playback xwolfmame replays.

Skito has sent me his source for 0.101, so it's more a matter of getting off of my ass to compile and test it. :)

most likely xwolfmame WILL NOT be 100% compatible with all winblows wolfmame inps but it appears to work with every 101 inp I've tried so far except this one

http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/b/8/2/zt ... olf101.zip

though haven't tried wolfmame yet on it to prove it's xwolf's fault.

Most probably will work, so long as you stick with using the default C 68000 CPU core. But I have had issues with the recorded speed display across the two ports, although playback was fine.

one compatibilty plus for xwolf101: the hangumi recording above does playback just have to say -ad /dev/null i.e. nosound. playsback similarly in official wolfmame with (doesn't playback) and with out sound.

Barry,

It is possible to get a version of xwolfmame with support for alsa in addition to OSS?
