No, this is the new command line parameter option to save a state on exit.

-autosave was added in 0.100u4, and allows save states to saved and loaded automatically on startup. It only works on games that are marked GAME_SUPPORTS_SAVE. I disabled it on recording, to avoid the situation of needing a save state to playback an inp. Two reason for this - one, like with NVRAM the save state would have to be read-only, so that it isn't overwritten on exit, and two, to keep the zip size down. Compressed INPs are large enough as it is.

Oh yes. Is Kawaks (and other emus) that already had this option before.
To Wolf recording, for sure disabling this feature is a good thing.
