tar (in the upload description) wrote:skito , lost tomb control , you will be a natural
He is suggesting that since the controls of this game are similar to those of Lost Tomb, that Chad (skito) will be good at it.

Ah. I didn't know Lost Tomb had dual stick too, never played it.
I like term natural.
After few tries of Gravitar, I'm afraid myself not being very natural at it. What a frustrating game to learn...

does it playback for you (doesn't for me) not many games are sound required for playback, this one could be the first. I couldn't playback the 50 or 60k recordings on 98 and xp (the 50k is zereoable, 60k has one strike so far.) I tried it but I suck. I think i like walls to hide behind, but i'll keep trying, good robotron clone though.

Second strike on the 62k

His first recording for this game played fine for me. (28k)

With WolfMAME?

He'd have to be accidentally using -allownvram.

skito , good score.

i see why my score is a dud.
when i boot up a game with sound,
i hit the button above the tab key.
-to turn the sound for headphones down.
one of the CPU accidentally was set to 90%

will play again
i think i played 6 times for that one.
damn ,i was getting frantic !
70k possible at qube 7.

I have defined all these "control" keys on numeric part of keyboard and don't have (early have) problems with accidentally pressing TAB or something.

Watched your inp Chad. Can clearly see a robotron player there :)
Imo you sacrifice too many lives for getting $'s....you get one man back for SIX $'s. Cube 6 is one of the hardest of the game, since it has so many yellow thingys there. I think after cube 6 it gets more easy for awhile...Tried with cheat, seems to me that the game does get harder increasingly. At later levels there are more bombers mixed with "yellows", and enemies colliding into eachother more fast, thus developing strong opponents very fast.

I'll have to use my all will power not to submit before gegotw. Let's just say that my score progress has been very linear after beating cube 6 first time couple days ago 8)

Meanwhile I present you a task: Try to say "hot diggety dog" 30 times in half a minute, and I'll buy you a beer :P

I don't think it's really worth going for $'s at all after the third cube or so. Two extra lives from picking up dollars is reasonable, but after that it comes too dangerous to go for them (except for that one at the beginning of Cube 5)

I'm starting to pick up on this game too (just tried it for the first time a couple hours ago), but yeah maybe I should stop uploading for now  oh who am I kidding, after what's happened with Black Widow and Krull, Ian will smash everyone anyway :P
