I can't get this one to playback. It takes a long time before it leaves the settings, and just before that it jumps to a very high recording speed :)

I've also tried with default NVRAM, its the same.

I think you're right. I've DQ'ed the score. However his next score does the same freaking thing as the one just deleted. 2 more and it will go.

Gerhard, please check your recordings before you upload them.

Why can't we just put a checkbox on the upload page saying, "I confirm that I have replayed my inp and that it plays back to the advertised score and without requiring an nvram."?

If you don't tick the checkbox you can't upload your inp, simple.

true but even if people don't check it do you think they're going to stop what they're doing recheck it and THEN click the box? kind of like reading a license from microsoft...

Sure they might not but it's better than nothing and there will be PROOF that they didn't check their inp if it doesn't play back and they will lose credibility at MARP .

You could even go to the extent of sending an email to remind them what the checkbox is for. Or is this just another unenforced rule. I'm just saying it wouldn't hurt to have it :). More importantly, more inps will play back first time so that confirmers can do their job.

Hmm I must say that I like that idea.

3rd one to zero. Doesn't playback. At the point where F2 should be pushed, playback "recorded speed" goes crazy.

another one, this appears to be an nvram problem, does something with no nvram, does nothing with default nvram.

Wonder how many are willing to go the extra distance finding "win85" mame for that recording. It takes Gerry 5 minutes to record a game, and for us it takes quite a lot more to try playback that, times 3, !@£€!!{&[ö]$!!
Things would be different with a class-act, or if he had tried playback for himself. Blah!

Can't even get the first one to playback to use NVRAM - it doesn't reset the high score table, or factory settings if NVRAM is used. NVRAM sucks. :/
