Mame32 v.76
no NVRAM
Others inps for lightbr and dungenmu confirmed with the same config by zlk and malhemiut. Can it be the "63 bug" version again?

Same here.
I've had similar issues with Bubble Memories too (same hardware). Reverting to 0.70 seemed to help, but I couldn't be absolutely sure that it would work every time either.
Perhaps another timing issue to be looked at?
Most Taito F3 games don't seem to have playback problems, although I don't recall seeing many uploads for these games recently.

I remember that I've problems to replay the inps of
blost@jvrm.net for Dungeon Magic. I want to see his game to learn the tricks, but I can't replay their inps. (though other players playback them fine)

http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/5/2/8/lj ... _win76.zip doesn't playback either. Gets a bit further, but still not past the first scenario.

Do you need my config files for replay the inp?
I playback now and it's fine.
What files exactly do you need?
Thx

well since it's the gui mame32 version you'll have to basically tell us all the check boxes and fields set for lightbr game "properties" right click (and other games in question) since they could be diffrent from the default properties. It might help to send the mame.ini file too but if it's the gui version it might be using settings not in the mame.ini file. if you could export the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\MAME32
that would eliminate the need for copying settings.

There is no register key. I believe that it was removed in 67 version or so.
There's my config files. If you need more notice me.

I didn't have time to run all the way through it, but the lightbr recording plays back correctly for me, at least to over half a million.

Thanks all you. When I've time (job, girlfriend, sports and films...) I will try to beat the game (i'm in the boss of the 3rd scenario, and it only has 4), and to reach the secret level as well. And the most important, if I can“t beat it, I show some paths that someone else can use for beat it!!!
So you can finally playback my inps in win98? Extrange thing. I've XP installed in my desktop...
Thx

Tried X-MAME, to see if it did something different. It doesn't.
I so want to watch these.

Malhemiut, do you try with my config files?
John Cunningam, what's your OS?
Can we have another bug similar to the 63 one? Or a problem the Taito F3 games? Wolfmame can help us? Or the same thing will happen?

I am using XP, but Chad's win98 machine seems compatible with mine when there is a problem like this, so I believe there must be some other similarity which causes it.

Nice play but it would be nice if you could use a "cheat-free" version as i used...
