I will substiute this with:

2.Cobra Command [horizontal shooter]

so the full list is:

1. The Ninja Kids [fighter]
2. Cobra Command [horizontal shooter]
3. Super Hang-On [racing] (Expert Course)

Those people saying things are too slow with the new mames70+ should try forcing hardware streching. I've noticed this in a bunch of games Noramlly i always have -nohws on because it makes the pixels nice and straight and i figured it would be faster for the video card. But the newmames hate this option, Example

beatmania will not play at 100% even with fs11 with -nohws option. If i dont select that option and turn on "hwstrech 1" in the mame.ini, it not only plays ok at fs0 but playsback not throttled 6 times faster than regular speed! This option kinda sucks, since the pixels looks crappy (isn't there another option to use with hws that makes the pixels look nice) but it plays nice and fast and no need to complain about slow speeds.

use these options:

-d3d (enable Direct3D)
-cleanstretch (forces stretching to integer ratios)
-d3dfilter 0 (uses no filtering)

error: invalid value for cleanstretch: -d3dfilter

what's a valid value for cleanstretch?

i tried -hws with -d3d and -d3dfilter 0 and it slowed the f*** down, just with -hws it's fastest although blurry.

from docs/windows.txt:

Code: Select all

-cleanstretch [option] / -cs [option]

Stretch the image to integer ratios only. This may leave a black border
around the image in fullscreen mode. The options are:

none disable. This will cause artifacts when using
			    scanlines.
auto let the blitter decide. The d3d module will select
			    the best option.
full always stretch to integer ratios both horizontally
			    and vertically.
horizontal always stretch to integer ratios horizontally.
vertical always stretch to integer ratios vertically.

The default is AUTO (-cleanstretch auto). This option requires -ddraw
	or -direct3d.

Pity to see that you have to be an expert in computers to just play some games :) I don't understand anything in all these options :(

3 days left to announce your vote : Deadline Wednesday 22 oct, 23.59 GMT sharp.

I'll have:

1. Shock Troopers (even though bbh will own)
2. Battle Bakraid (possibly the best shooter even made)
3. Random game

BBH already said Shock Troopers, so you should vote for another game (or else it's a wasted vote). And come on, Random game? Try to think of something. :)

1. Shock Troopers (has 2 votes...should now be in T7 forsure) :)
2. Battle Bakraid
3. Blazing star (wanna see destructor on this one)
Well, suit yourself for Shock Troopers, games with more votes than others is a waste, because more votes doesn't = larger chance, all games have the same chance.

Also, I already voted for Blazing Star. ^_^

With there being 4499 Roms and over 2594 Unique games [as of .76] why we're getting duplicate votes is beyond me.

[Shakes head] It's not like dupe voting will ensure a game is picked..

I know it won't ensure a game is picked. I'm just voting for them because if i was to be asked what games i'd want in T7, i'd say those 3. Regardless of what anyone has voted for so far.

It'd be hell nice to have a beatmania in T7, however not many people have the chd's and all, including me :(
