I'm curious...do any inps you review QT playback to the advertised score?
I have never seen so many score corrections as you have pointed out the past week.
It gives the impression a lot of the scores not confirmed maybe were watched but didn't play back to the posted score so it wasn't confirmed or something....nothing ever done about those until now perhaps.

well, i guess you could check the percentage against how many i confirm, but...
for the record, there's a number of games like Star Jacker that I'm hesitant to even report a score error on, because it's Sega and those tend to play back to a range of points near the final score. difficult to confirm these regardless of what we do.
and then, to top it all off, there are a lot of confirmers, but most don't do very much confirming, and if they do, it tends to be recent. skito and gb9 used to be the main ones, but one is too busy now and the other is gone--it was nice to see a few players like zlk (and there are more of you) pick up some of the slackwith the backlog, but it seems to have grown since i left MARP.
so most of what i seem to get are the scores people weren't interested in watching, or the ones that had problems. and being a player who didn't check his .inps too carefully when he started out at MARP, it's probably appropriate penance.
cheers,
QCN
...i suspect that's it exactly. we didn't really have a system of reporting score problems before the playbackability board, and most people would have rather just leave it be than go to the hassle of writing an e-mail to an Editor. It gives the impression a lot of the scores not confirmed maybe were watched but didn't play back to the posted score so it wasn't confirmed or something....nothing ever done about those until now perhaps.

what would really be useful, Rick, is if you could have a look through those Sega .inps of teign's that i listed, because i suspect that most of them won't play back. none of them played back to the advertised score for me, and Sega games are notorious for having replay problems.
