I can't get it to run without crashing in either ver of 54... but... this is the amusing part.. I downloaded Mame32 .55 and ran it... and I got a score of 17,700 points... [Sound and No Sound, etc.] it looks like it desynchs big time too.. so probably an NVram issue.
