I cannot get Romulous/Tombstone's dangerz score to playback no matter what options (nosound, noafs) or version (tried .60 and .61)
http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/e/b/d/tm ... mame61.zip
it sticks for me every time at 5250 or so. i don't think this is a valid .inp. it's gone a year without being confirmed as well.
on top of that, according to the description, it looks like another player entirely recorded it.

Romulous upped the majority of Tombstones Inps. The only other player is "The Elder". All Elder Inps should get deleted. That reminds me, Donut upped an Inp played by his wife.
And in case you're wondering what Tombstones actually is:

Why?

Because teams are not allowed at MARP.

Since when? Then shouldn't "@HotTeam.pl", "@jvrm.net", "@team2ch.jp" and "@TeamBrazil" scores get deleted too?? All of these teams have more than one player.

These are all individual accounts.

The preblem is Romulous and The Elder use the same account for uploading. And it's not allowed by marp. As when TeamPL used the same account the last year. Now each player of team.pl have their own account, as team2ch and jvrm or teamBrazil, Italy, etc.
Sta the case of wxr2 but we haven't any proof they're a team for one account.

Ok, I understand now (thanks, Francois). Sorry for being a bit slow

Yes, I agree his inps should get deleted.

I'll delete them if romulus gives the ok that the elder recordings were not his recordings. or there is some other IP proof.

if you check the description for the file, skito, it says as much in it... "xxx playing for Tombstones"...this is a pretty easy thing to search.

further info has reveled itself that elder is romulus' brother and Donut's wife plays some of his games for him :)

if someone can find the specific rule where we don't allow member of the same family/owners of the computer to use the same account. Then i'll remove them. I agree that the postulate is valid, since multiple players can inflate leaderboard scores (oh no!), but if it's not anywhere yet i won't do anything about it until it is stated somewhere on the site (being more cautious deleting recordings in my old age.)

The debate about teams is here:
viewtopic.php?t=9141&highlight=teams
We never came to a conclusion. PLScores just split up into individual accounts and that stopped the discussion because no more teams were left.

Funny that you mention that. Donut takes the leaderboard very seriously. Check his matchit description:
This inp puts me at 22,643 leader board points, passing Timmykins for 3rd place.
He should be punished for that statement alone.

there is an earlier debate than that, even, where i think we reached a conclusion. i can't believe i didn't state this explicitly in the rules page. if someone has time to check the message board archive--i forget when...

and furthermore, as stated in the original post, the .inp itself doesn't work, so this one at least should be wiped--it's skewing scores badly on this game.
