Ouch it's complex for this one :
http://marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mo ... 00&tourn=0

http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/3/0/e/db ... mame53.zip

In 0.53 the only rom is the Japan one. Now the japan is the clone of the world rom. This inp is for 0.53 so for the japan, but it's in the ranking of the world version.

Besides the score is 48981 not 48743

Not to sound negative here but in 12th place and only 2 MARP pts....does it really matter?!?!?

Also, the player shows an e-mail link. Have you tried e-mailing them asking about this? They likely can clear it up if submitted to wrong rom set or wrong version of mame or something.

He not submitted to the wrong rom set. He submitted for the right. But the sets were changed with an update of mame and the score had'nt be moved and stay in the wrong place.

It's not the only one. And some 1st place had stay in the wrong places too until someone see it.

Yes, but that would be an increase in points. The loss is to that particular gamer in this case making the mistake of submitting it to the wrong rom set. Although as long ago as that was perhaps that was the only rom set listed for that game then.

It's not the same as making a case for blocking someone down or removing a score where taking that action results in more points for others.

It seems like a lot of effort to go to for an inp that overall doesn't really mean that much. If the gamer wants those additional 12 points, then they would be active(are they?) and the e-mail address shown be valid(is it? did you try e-mailing them?)
