don't know what else could be the problem with it. Are you playing it back with tgmame69, or one of the three revisions based on the source diffs? I recorded it with regular unmodified tgmame69 (commandline version). I see that Barry got it to playback, so, uhh...
These recent playback problems are certainly strange. I have two comps, this one doesn't work on the first (P4 Northwood, XP) but works perfectly on the second (Celery 566, XP).
worked for me with sound i think, not sure where i played it back xp/98. I think i used fs0 too, since i wanted to study how the heck this game works. leave it to bbh to figure it out more than anyone else even though he says he didn't know what he was doing! :)

hehe, ok maybe I sorta know what I'm doing, but a lot of it still confuses me. like why you sometimes lose two or three "lives" after being hit, and why sometimes you even get lives back... yeah, I'd attempt to make some more progress but that second stage gets pretty damn hard fast.
Hmm after playing the game for almost 1 hour I understand more, but far from everything.. I bet there was a HUGE manual on that game.. on the outside of the cab that is
this is freaky (because i have athalon 1800 but it's 1800MP not 1800XP, with windows xpPro) but is conforming to what has been happening. Buttermaker is the only one that can playback both of these kinds of playback duals, that will only work in some configurations. Maybe it's a direct X thing, what version of direct X do you have on the celery verses the intel XP pro, buttermaker?
