Inappropriate descriptions in inp uploads

This has gotten to be enough. It has happened a few times the past few weeks.

A certain player here seems to not want to get past discussions where others just have a different opinion in a forum thread and keep showing disrespect for them with inappropriate comments in new uploads for game descriptions. That shows disrespect toward those others named and also disrespect for MARP.

All that should be in game descriptions is info related to that upload and how you played the game etc. They aren't for personal attacks against others.

I hope an editor can conveniently remove that inappropriate description..if it hasn't been removed already as of reading this.

Thx...now back to gaming!

eh, if something offends you, keep recording. The best way to fight back is to beat the score, OR indicate that you think they are using autofire and we can check it... If we removed all descriptions that trash talked, they'red be little incentive for competion :) I'm too much for free speech to remove something based on an attack. Cussing? yeah i'll remove that.

I assume you're refering to Hisa's degrading of players that don't use the trick. heck you got almost what you wanted: he's actually making recordings he DOESNT want to make.

Chad, I think BBH had changed the description before you got to see it. It wasn't egging competition or talking trash about the score for the game.

It was a comment having nothing to do with the score and game.

Since you mention it, Hisa had written in the description to ban me, Francois, and TJT from downloading any of his inps and that we 3 always complain etc. I actually had no plans to download or view any outrun inps. The only reason I did watch that one Hisa inp to start with was because someone ELSE(get that Hisa? It was someone else for Outrun. I just watched the inp so I could discuss it and vote.) had started that Outrun discussion and poll about the trick so I watched the inp to see the trick before I voted.

...highly inappropriate use of the description.

Actually, in looking at it now it seems Hisa has removed BBH's change and put at least part of what Hisa had originally stated back in the description(watch he sees this and changes it again).

It's bad enough he continuously keeps trashing Francois, TJT, and me in these forums even though those discussions and issues were over weeks ago. We don't need that in game descriptions also.

Have the MARP editors asked him to stop trashing others?

Crap like this...
Hisa, seriously. Are you that immature? The whole Outrun/Cameltry thing ended when? Jesus Christ, man..

exactly...

MARP admins can't allow that to continue.
That is highly inappropriate.

Even if it didn't involve me but just other users I still would say it's highly inappropriate use of the description.

Game over Hisa and you are out of quarters.

Exactly.
They aren't for personal attacks against others.
Or advertisements.

What about random jibberish? o.O'

Ex: entering a description of "I LIKE CHICKENS, EDDY!! OINK!" for a Mars Matrix inp = poor etiquette? 8O

There has never been any rules against what you can say in your descriptions. Endless advertisment and bashing to other players should of course not be there!

Stop with that please.

Other than that I think something about the game you just uploaded is the best thing to write... but some humour, and small talk etc is just fun.

I hope we don´t have to set rules for the descriptions too... *puhh* Let´s stick to the games, and friendly competition shall we? :)

Cheers!

What I don't get is why Hisa doesn't want Rick, Francois, or TJT downloading any of his recordings... including ones he's uploading on Twinbee Yahhoo? What is it exactly you don't want them to see, Hisa?

and here's a thought. you've said before that you want people to ignore you if they don't like what you're doing. So you expect those "three men" to ignore you when you're calling them out by name in every upload? Geezus christ, grow up and use some common sense.

Dumbass.

BBH, Hisa feels for whatever reason that I and the couple others targeted him by watching his inps and disapproved of his Outrun off-road techniques as some kind of personal attack against him.

Therefore he doesn't want any of us watching any of his inps ever again.

First I want to point out that I didn't even start the Outrun stuff.
A couple MARP editors had pointed out the Outrun inp and that the play was "suspicious". Someone else then started a poll for that. I then downloaded and watched his inp just to see exactly what they meant by "suspicious" then gave my opinion what I felt about that kind of play.

It was never personal. I didn't go through watching Hisa's inps to try and find something to pick on. We had a poll and voted on it and somehow Hisa won that one so his cheap off-road trick is permitted. I haven't commented on it since.

I have no idea how Hisa even got on me for it given I wasn't the one that brought up that issue.

Now for Camel Try Hisa brought that on himself and he knows it. QRS and I were having a great competition where we were topping each others top scores 3-4 times over a week. Hisa then posts saying a 9,999,990 score was possible in Camel Try and was asking if this or that would be considered illegal.

Then he posted that 2+ million inp for it knowing even beforehand it was likely illegal. He then just tells everyone to shut up about it. Did he expect QRS and I and everyone else to just ignore that inp and accept his score? We all knew instantly you can't get that level of score without a serious trick...which is exactly what Hisa's inp demonstrated. We then had a poll and voted on it. I personally didn't ban that technique. I only had 1 vote like everyone else here does. The MARP membership banned that technique. Stop taking everything to a personal level Hisa. It's not personal at all.

Other than those 2 inps I have not watched or care to watch any of Hisa's gameplay. I will only watch it if someone else has pointed out something as a potential issue. Then I'll watch it...or anyone else's inp to see an example of it if I wasn't already fully familiar with it to then give my opinion and vote etc.

There is absolutely nothing personal about it at all. Hisa makes it personal for whatever reason.

If I didn't do the above then I would feel like I wasn't doing all of my "duties" as a confirmer and partiicpant of MARP.

Sad... very sad.

I was off for the last month and when I return, I see that... I've forget all that but...

I've nothing to said, only it's sad.

I think they are more important things in the world (especially in the last month) than make a pityfull and ridiculous war with 3 others great players.

We aren't here for make war but for play, just play

Okay. Do we HAVE to say "Ban 3 men's download and complain" IN EVERY SINGLE REPLAY UPLOADED?
WE GET THE POINT.

I don't know about you guys, but I say it's time to have a poll to BAN NOVICE!

This is stupid Hisa. Move on! It has been a few months now geesh.

If you want to do nothing but bully how MARP is run then start your own MAME scoreboard then you can have an anything goes scoreboard.

Notice how no one else at MARP does these actions you are doing. We have asked you to stop numerous times and yet 3 months later you still are at it.

It's time for the MARP admins to make a case for banning a member that has no intentions here but to be a troublemaker by pissing others off constantly.

I'm sure Hisa would rather submit his scores to a scoreboard that doesn't have any special rules of any kind anyway so he can cheat all he wants at the games.

You could always just ignore him
