m35tg3

Post by tar »

 I viewed three invaders, and two galap4 recordings on this version. The games playback slow, but read 100%. If you hit F10 and go up to 150%, its just about the correct speed. Now, if you simply play the game instead of replay, it's o.k. I imagine that the games record at the right speed. Why the slow playback :?:

that's more of a mame question than a marp question. if it says 100% then mame thinks THAT is the correct speed and you should bring that up to the mamedev guys for not emulating it fast enough. Note: 35tg doesn't have the cool see the recorded speed on the fly (F11) as alpha mame does.

Alpha mame is very nice ; features and art. About the 35tg3 though, I think I discovered the problem. First of all i have two computers, a pentium 166MHz and a 1.6GHz processor. The first machine is the one with the playback trouble. I suspect that a vital element which maintains the regulation of speed in the emulator is corrupt. I noticed this morning that the aforementioned inps playback fine on the second computer. Invaders plays about 5000% with F10, no sound. Here however is another question. When will windows '98 be considered obsolete for recording inps at marp?
